In memory of Armando Grandi

On October 25th, the founder of the Renato Grandi Foundation, Armando Grandi, passed away in Lugano, his city of residence. He was not only the founder of an extraordinary foundation, created in memory of his beloved son Renato and bearing his name—the Renato Grandi Foundation—but above all, an example for all of us.

His character, his being an exceptional man of great generosity, kindness, and selflessness, left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. A benefactor with a big heart, through his immense kindness, he saved many children in various parts of the world by building wells and aqueducts, schools, and a pediatric center in Guinea-Bissau, all highly appreciated by the community.

Through his dedication and commitment, he changed the lives of hundreds of children, men, and women in the world’s poorest countries, restoring their dignity, offering them opportunities, and a better future. His work, his tenacity, and his foresight inspire us to believe that, with the right heart and will, it is possible to make a difference. Thanks to his enthusiasm and tireless efforts, many lives have been transformed, and many dreams that once seemed unreachable have become a reality for these people.

Thank you for being an unforgettable example of altruism. His Foundation will continue his work and fulfill his wishes with passion and dedication
